Companion Animal Hospital of Spring Cove opened our doors in 1997. We currently have two doctors and a support staff of veterinary technicians, assistants, and receptionists to serve our clients.
We provide medical and surgical services for small animals, including canine, feline, and most exotics. Our diagnostic care includes laboratory and digital x-ray options.
We also provide euthanasia services. If you would like for us to take care of your pet after its passing, we can provide crematory services through Pet Memorial.
James R. Harden, DVM is the owner and operator of the hospital. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1992 with his doctorate in veterinary medicine. He also holds degrees in both agriculture and medical technology from West Virginia University. Dr. Harden brings over 30 years experience in the medical field to the practice.
Kristen Ritchey, DVM graduated from The Ohio University in 2015 and joined Companion Animal Hospital in June of that year. She has a long history with the hospital as she worked as an assistant for us before she even applied for veterinary college. Dr. Ritchey grew up locally and is a graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School.
We strive to use our knowledge, training and experience to help you provide the best care for your pet.
We encourage questions and want to help you understand your pet's needs.
Building a relationship with you and your pet is important to help us all make the right choices for your companion.
